While it is designed to go with the Kimler gathering table in Plank Road, it is equally suited to work with built in kitchen islands that feature counter height or gathering height areas. As for the design, the solid wood that serves as the structural framework of the chair is designed to be exposed and part of the beauty of the piece. It is beautiful from both he front and the back of the chair. It also features a small nail-head trim that frames the seat and back upholstery.

All spills should be wiped as soon as possible, including food or beverage residue. We recommend a microfiber cloth dampened with one tablespoon of distilled vinegar to one quart of distilled water. Wipe in direction of the grain. Use clean, soft cloth to dry. Avoid the use of oily polishes or waxes.
To prevent color change, avoid direct sunlight for long periods of time or rotate often for even exposure. To avoid cracking, do not expose to extreme humidity or temperature. Do not place extremely hot or cold drinks directly on the finish. Avoid the use of rubber, vinyl and plastics such as placemats and lamp pads, which may deteriorate finish. We recommend using cloth-backed items for these purposes.
